Fabric suggestions Show/hide details
To sew this bustier top, choose medium-weight, soft, highly stretchy knit fabrics. The stretch factor should be at least 1.5. You can determine the stretch factor yourself. Mark a 10 cm (4") section across the width of the fabric, lay a ruler next to the marked section, and stretch the fabric. Divide the measurement you get by 10. The fiber content must include elastane or spandex and can also include natural, artificial, blended, or synthetic fibers. The following fabrics are recommended: knits, double-knit jersey. Attention! We recommend using only stretchy fabrics to sew this bustier top. The bustier top in the photo is made of double-knit jersey. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and stretchy. The fiber content is 70% viscose + 25% nylon + 5% elastane. The fabric weight is 320 g/m². The stretch factor is 1.5. The lining of the garment is made of double-knit jersey. The fiber content is 70% viscose + 25% nylon + 5% elastane. The fabric weight is 220 g/m². The stretch factor is 1.5.
