Fabric suggestions
This pattern has been designed for light-medium weight woven fabric with little to no stretch. Cotton poplin, cotton twill, linen, lightweight denim are all good fabrics for this skirt. The fabric used in the main image is a gingham cotton. For your lining, choose a generic lining or something similar to that of your main fabric but in a lighter weight. For example, if you are using cotton poplin as your main fabric, a cotton lawn is a lovely lining.
