To sew this blazer, choose dense, structured, non-stretch or low-stretch suiting fabrics made of natural fibers, artificial fibers, blends, or synthetic fibers. The following fabrics are recommended: gabardine, velvet, wool suiting. For the lining, use lining fabrics made of artificial fibers, blends, or synthetic fibers. The blazer in the photo is made of cotton velvet. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and non-stretch. The fiber content is 100% cotton. The fabric weight is 270 g/m². The lining is 100% viscose. The fabric weight is 100 g/m².

Lightweight interfacing, knit or woven, 140 cm wide, in meters: 0.95 - 1.2 m Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1.5 cm (5/8") wide — 3.2 m (3 1/2 yd). Gimp braid trim for the toggle closure, 1–1.2 cm (3/8–1/2") wide: 5.5 - 6.5 m Twenty one buttons, 2–2.2 cm (3/4–7/8") in diameter. One pair of shoulder pads, 1.5 cm (5/8") thick.
