Fabric suggestions
For the pleats to stay in place, you will need fabric that holds its shape after ironing. I made mine with 100% cotton fabric, but different fabrics are able to hold the pleats. It's a matter of ironing it (according to the manufacturer's instructions) and seeing if it works.
Fabric requirements
The length of the skirt is customizable. To know the amount of fabric you need, first you need to know the length of the skirt you want. Double that amount and add 20cm for extra ease.
Measure your waist and multiply it by 1.5. If it fits your fabric
width wise, it means you can fit the pattern piece in it.
