Fabric suggestions
Heavy weight or stiff fabrics work best. For the samples, the Marigolds were printed on the Dogwood Denim from Spoonflower. Having a heavy weight fabric that your machine can sew at least a few layers of will work best for the Cocoon. It helps the bag stand up on its end. And it eliminates any stiffener or linings.
Consider your fabric print selection carefully as directional prints can only be used one way when you’re cutting out your Cocoon.
