Fabric suggestions
• Blazer outer layer: suiting weight fabrics with non-stretch such as wool flannels, wool mohair, synthetic wool suiting, gaberdine.
• Lining: lightweight slippery fabrics such as satin, silk habotai, cupro, satin viscose, crepe de chine, and acetate.
• Interfacing: Fran requires two weights of interfacing, a lightweight woven poly interfacing for the main body, and a small amount of mid-weight for the chest area, the under collar, and the collar stand.
• Wadding for the sleeve head or a ready-made sleeve head. A small amount of horsehair canvas is optional for the sleeve head.
