Fabric suggestions

Mid- to heavy-weight non-stretch denim, ideal in 10-13 oz weights. It is also possible to use stretch denim for this pattern, but we recommend a maximum of 2% lycra content. Since stretch denim has more give, you may find you need to size down through the hips and legs. Cotton lining for pockets and waistband.

Jeans button, 1 x 17 mm Denim zipper Optional: Denim rivets, 8 x 9 mm Topstitching thread Traditional polyester thread for sewing seams Denim needles Marking tool Optional: Knit interfacing for waistband You'll need the following tools to install hardware: • Hammer • Hard metal surface (ie. a cast iron frying pan or anvil) • Awl for making holes for rivets + buttons
