Frillz sewing pattern

For the ruffles: Lightweight fabrics truly shine when gathered. Look for airy, fluid options such as organza, tulle, or lace – materials that retain their volume without being heavy. Thicker fabrics can also be used, but be prepared for more effort at the sewing machine. Ideally, choose fabrics that are easy to serge, or even better, ones that don’t require any finishing, allowing the ruffle edge to remain light and effortless. For the base pattern pieces: Ground the design with a fabric that offers a little more structure. Poplin, viscose, and cotton blends are stable yet comfortable, striking a quiet balance between support and softness.
