US26-US30 150 cm / 59 in wide fabric* (due to the leggings cut on fold)
Short shorts 0.8-0.9 m / 1 yard
Long shorts 0.9-1 / 1-1 1/8 yard
Capri length 1.1 - 1.15/ 1 1/4 yard
3/4 length 1.15 - 1.25/ 1 3/8 yard
7/8 length 1.25 - 1.35/ 1 1/2 yard
Full length 1.35-1.45 / 1 5/8 yards
For the version with side panels if using contrasting fabrics for the pockets or side panels follow the yardage recommended for the plain leggings. That would be the length of the panel.
You will need 40-45 cm / 1/2-yard strip across the full width of the fabric.
