Fabric suggestions
Light- to medium-weight drapey knit fabrics with at least 25% crosswise stretch and good recovery (in other words, they ping back down to size easily after stretching). Try viscose (rayon) jersey, cotton jersey or for everyday, or a sumptuous stretch velvet or silk jersey for parties. The book also gives tips for making the skirt part of the dress in sequin knit.
