Fabric suggestions

Your fabric will need to have at least 60- 75% stretch crossgrain. Your fabric also MUST have good recovery. If it does not, the armscye may gape. Please see the stretch guide on page 7 to check the stretch of your fabric. Try to choose a fabric with some spandex or lycra content. Fabrics that would work well with this pattern include: rib knit, bamboo jersey, modal jersey or rayon jersey. ***Avoid knits with a high percentage of cotton (60% or over). They will not have enough recovery for this pattern. If you do decide to use a knit fabric with a high cotton %, you may want to size down. You will also need to shorten the armbands. We suggest shortening by 7.5% of the length of the band, or about 1.5” depending on the size you make.
