Fabric suggestions
Woven fabric with a good drape: crepe, satin, twill… in silk, cupro, tencel, viscose, polyester…
Lining needs to be a very lightweight woven fabric with a similar drape to your main fabric (e.g. avoid using cotton poplin to line viscose crepe).
If you choose it as a wedding dress sewing pattern, you may want to add a third layer of sheer fabric (silk organza for example): treat it the same way as you main fabric and order the same quantity.

A 40cm invisible zipper
You will also need some strips of silk organza to stabilize seams that are on the bias, to prevent any stretching (alternatively you can buy iron-on stabilizing tape, or even use strips of interfacing cut in the straight of grain).
