Jacket: I've used a quilted double gauze fabric. The jacket is best suited to a medium-weight fabric. A quilted fabric works well as it usually has a lining and is a good weight for outwear. Denim or corduroy would also work well. Blouse: I've used a printed linen for this blouse. Cotton, lawn and double gauze would also be suitable. For more of a floaty blouse, you could use viscose. Cotton poplin will give a crisp finish.
