Fabric suggestions
This pattern works best with lighter woven fabrics like voile, lawn and double/single gauze. I wouldn’t use anything heavier than quilting cotton or washed linen (5 oz.) because the shirring won’t scrunch up enough for a good fit.
Fabric requirements
Length 1 + 2: 150cm wide fabrics: 1-2,8m OR 114cm 114cm wide fabrics: 1,4-2,8m
Length 3: 150cm wide fabrics: 0,7-1,9m OR 114cm 114cm wide fabrics: 1-1,9m
*Note that when sewing Length 2 in size 8-10y you will need a fabric that is at least 46” [ 117 cm ] in width.
