Heavyweight trouser fabrics are recommended for this pattern. The pattern is specifically designed for heavy denim (300-400 gsm) without elastane. Twill, corduroy, canvas and similar heavyweight fabrics will also work well. For pocket lining, you can use woven cotton, such as cotton canvas.
