This pattern is designed for a light weight fabric such as cotton poplin, linen, or silk; however, it's also possible to use a mid weight fabric. If you choose a mid weight fabric, consider design options that will help reduce bulk. For example, you could omit the pockets or sew the half skirt option instead of the full skirt.

View A Main Fabric 44": 1 - 2 yards 54": 1 - 1 7/8 yards 60": 1 - 1 5/8 yards You will also need 1 yard (92 cm) of a lightweight lining fabric. If you are using your main fabric foryour lining, be sure to add 1 yard (92 cm) to the main fabric requirement. View B Main Fabric 44": 1 3/4 - 2 5/8 yards 54": 1 1/2 - 2 1/4 yards 60": 1 1/2 - 2 1/8 yards You will also need 1 5/8 yard (149 cm) of a lightweight lining fabric. If you are using your main fabricfor your lining, be sure to add 1 5/8 yard (149 cm) to the main fabric requirement.
