Fabric suggestions
This works really well in woven fabrics such as cotton or linen in a light-to-medium weight of 90-200 gsm. This style looks beautiful in laundered linen and even in a more structured cotton twill.
Fabric requirements
49 to 58 cm (19 1/4 to 23 in) of fabric that is 105 to 150cm (41 1/2 to 59 in) wide. The width of fabric is determined by the size you are making.
Supplies
Cotton tape, 8 mm (5/16 in) wide. You will need four lengths for the front and back underarms; 22.5-30 cm (8 7/8 - 11 7/8 in).
Binding, 4 cm (1 1/2 in) wide. You will need two lengths to finish the front and back neck; 21-30 cm (8 1/4 - 12 in). You will need two lengths to finish the front and back armholes/straps; 58-90 cm (23 - 35 1/2 in).
