To make it easier to sign up and log in on Threadloop, we have added support for Apple and Google sign up/log in!
You can read about it in full in our guide, but here are the most important bits:
We've removed the display name field from the sign up step, and moved it to the onboarding. This means that we now generate a random (sewing related) display name for everyone who signs up, but this can be easily changed during the onboarding or anytime in the account settings
When you sign up using Apple or Google you skip the confirmation step that you still have to do if you sign up manually using your email address
If you created your account manually (using an email address and password), you can now connect your account to Apple and/or Google to log in with one click. To do this, go to account settings -> password & login -> social login and click the button(s) to connect your account(s)
