I would love to make some 100% cotton/breathable fabric scrubs that have a bust dart in the top, while still having some ease t...

#1
I already own the Ashton top, which helps, but I do think its a very useful base for iterating on any kind of woven top. I may experiment with more of a scoop/v-neck at some point.
#2
I can't recommend this expansion pack enough! It takes a useful base pattern and makes it a VERY useful base!
#3
This one is free! And a bust dart! Nice option I think, but fewer sleeve options than the Ashton.
#4
This is a really cool option that doesn't have a dart per se, but has interesting shaping and likely good ROM, but is simple enough to work for scrubs I think.
#5
I like that this top has raglan sleeves, which I find give more range of motion in clinic, but no bust dart here.
#6
This is kind of ambitious for scrubs, buttons and all - but, again, the raglan creates nice ROM, and if the buttons -> snaps + leave the collar off, well, that is just a whole new ball game isn't it! I think of this lengthened and more like a scrub *jacket* I guess than a top (the white coat thing is just not for me tbh).
#7
This is another option I really like for a scrub coat! Again raglan sleeves for range of motion, and some patch pockets that can be customized.
#8
I already own this pattern, and I like the pockets for clinic, plus they're easy to make longer/layer with additional ones due to their side placement. I was thinking a longer pocket for my stethoscope (life has taught me NOT to wear it around my neck), and then a smaller pocket for ID/pens, etc.
#9
I like the knee dart on these - again, a nice way to add shaping to a woven fabric pant. I am not really into the pockets as offered on these? But a relatively simple fix if needed.
#10
I think the pockets on these, and then adding something like the falconer side pocket are PRIMO! Probably my best bet of the lot tbh!

Okay - I know what you are thinking, just buy this set. BUT, one I do find I am sometimes on the cusp of the sizing cut-off between pattern groupings with Style Arc, and it is very annoying to have to buy TWICE! I also find the models' garments have a lot more ease than I am personally looking for.
