Interfacing: • 1 1/2”(3.8cm) wide non-roll, non-fusible waistband interfacing, such as Ban-rol or other mono-filament waistband stabilizer – Cut to measure (approximately half of your waist circumference plus 4"(10.2cm)). See notes for substitution option. Elastic: • 1 1/2”(3.8cm) heavy, wide non-roll elastic – Cut to measure (approximately half of your waist circumference minus 1"(2.5cm)* - see page 50 for more information). Buttons: • (5) - 1/2”(12mm) or (19L/20L) for integrated button placket • (1) - 3/4”-1”(19-25mm) or (29L/30L-40L) for button loop on waistband OR one additional concealed waistband closure if eliminating button loop on waistband (see notes). Concealed waistband closure: • (1) - hook and bar closure OR sew in snap Additional Materials: • Erasable tailor’s chalk, marking pen or a way to transfer pattern to the fabric • Long ruler and/or a right angle ruler • Stay tape (optional) • Matching thread,
