Fabric suggestions
Cotton or linen work best but any fabric can be used. Great for fabulous printed cottons. Redundant cotton and/or linen curtains bought online or from thrift stores can make lovely skirts. The quality and thickness of the material is often great and you will be saving it from landfill.
Fabric requirements
44" (115 cm) wide fabric (sizes XXS-6XL only): 2 - 2 1/2 yd (2 - 2.5 m) // 54" (140 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/4 - 2 1/2 yd (1.25 - 2.5 m) // 60" (150 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/4 - 2 1/2 yd (1.25 - 2.5 m). Fabric requirements are for non-directional prints. If you need to pattern match, you may need more fabric. Fabric requirements are for the longest skirt length and will be less for shorter skirts.

Notions: 1" (2.5 cm) wide elastic; interfacing (not essential).
