Fabric suggestions Show/hide details
I like to use vintage woolen blankets, but you can use any warm fabric such as wool, wool blends, corduroy or velvet. Fleece and WindPro are also suitable fabrics. You could also use quilting cottons for a spring weight vest. For the lining you can use cotton, linen, flannel, or other soft breathable fabric.
Fabric requirements Show/hide details
1.2 - 2.6 m
Supplies Show/hide details
Spool of coordinating thread Button(s) or toggle(s) Cord elastic for fastening loops (optional - enough to make a loop to go over each button). Allow approximately 7” (18cm) per loop, as you need some length in order to tie the knot.
