The top will have a nice tailored look using medium- to heavy weight fabric (Denim, Cotton Sateen). Fabric with some stretch will enhance the fit further. Cotton poplins and shirting fabrics will result in a more casual result. For lightweight fabrics, add interfacing to the main fabric bodice.
