There are many ways you can express your opinion and experiences with patterns on Threadloop, notably by sharing your projects and writing reviews. These are different, but interconnected.
Projects explore a specific instance of using a pattern, whereas a review can express multiple experiences over time.
If you have shared a project with the pattern you're reviewing, it will be linked at the bottom of your review. Likewise, your projects will link to your review.

How do I write a review?
Go to the pattern page of the pattern you want to review, scroll past the main pattern information until you see the Review tab -> Write review.
Before you write your review, please make sure that you read the guidelines.
The review form
What star rating should I pick? Writing a review is about your experience and thoughts, there is no universal guideline to what any number of stars mean, so the focus is on your words first and foremost.
It might help to write out you review before you commit to a rating, which is why that part comes first in the review.
You can give half stars if you're in-between two ratings.
Positive and negative statements Depending on the star rating you give, you will be presented with some statements you can choose from to quickly capture the core points of your review. These statements are optional.
If you give a pattern a rating of 0.5, you will only be able to pick from the negative statements.
Likewise, if you rate a pattern the full 5 stars, you will only be able to pick positive statements to back up your review.
Every pattern that has reviews will have a review summary that is trying to capture the overall opinions of the pattern. This includes an average of all the star ratings, as well as the top three most used statements.
Remember that reviews are highly subjective, and you might not agree with someone else's experience. Try not to evaluate a pattern solely by the star rating. Read reviews carefully and explore shared projects and discussions to get a fuller picture.
